Glee Hotel has made its formal debut on Nairobi’s hospitality map, holding an exclusive soft launch that drew a select group of media professionals and influencers for an evening of indulgence, culinary finesse, and social celebration.

The private event, held at the hotel’s flagship dining venue, the Peacock Restaurant, served as a first look into Glee Hotel’s ambition to craft what it calls “moments worth remembering.”

Guests were treated to a showcase of the hotel's culinary prowess, service philosophy, and aesthetic vision that blends global luxury with a distinct Kenyan warmth.

A highlight of the evening was the culinary demonstration led by Executive Chef Luca Pintus.

With over two decades of experience in Michelin-starred kitchens in France and elite Mediterranean yachts, Chef Luca’s name already carries weight in Kenya’s fine dining circles, having worked with Tribe Hotel and Food Library restaurants.

He was joined by Chef Yadav, whose Indian roots complemented Luca’s Italian culinary heritage, resulting in a fusion of refined technique and inventive flavour.

During the live cooking sessions, the duo delivered a multisensory experience, each plate crafted with precision and storytelling.

Their collaboration not only delighted guests but also demonstrated Glee Hotel’s broader philosophy of international quality underpinned by multicultural authenticity.

Beyond cuisine, the hotel unveiled its #MomentsatGlee campaign—an experiential initiative designed to tap into the modern traveller’s desire for shareable memories.

Carefully curated photo zones and onsite professional photographers ensured that the evening’s moments would live on far beyond the event itself.

According to the hotel, the campaign “reflects the hotel’s understanding that today’s travellers seek experiences worth sharing.”

Glee Hotel enters the city’s competitive premium hospitality sector not as a chain affiliate, but as an independent operator aiming to merge nimble responsiveness with global excellence.

This allows the hotel to adapt swiftly to local trends while maintaining international benchmarks in service and design.

By the end of the evening, guests had not only mingled over expertly crafted cocktails and canapés, but also witnessed the recognition of winners from the hotel’s social media contest.

The presentations underlined Glee’s commitment to cultivating personalised experiences that linger.

As Nairobi’s hospitality sector continues to expand, Glee Hotel is positioning itself as a destination where luxury is not defined solely by furnishings or stars, but by human connection, innovation, and a memory-driven approach to service.
