Inchcape Kenya has secured the exclusive distribution rights for New Holland agricultural machinery in Kenya, positioning itself to begin sales and support for the globally recognised brand from August 1, 2025.

The company, part of the global Inchcape network, will offer the full spectrum of New Holland products, including tractors, combine harvesters, spare parts, and after-sales service.

This move, according to both parties, is expected to bolster mechanisation in Kenyan agriculture, improve productivity for farmers and help drive sustainable development within the sector.

Özkan Eren, New Holland’s Middle East and Africa Business Director, expressed confidence in the new arrangement.

"We are confident that with Inchcape, we have the perfect partner to support our farmers into a new level in Kenya. Our long-standing commitment to agriculture in Kenya continues and we want to maintain New Holland as the number one brand in the country," Eren stated.

"With this new partnership our ties to Kenya become even stronger. We look forward to supporting Inchcape, our new partner, in their growth, confident they will offer the best products and service to our customers in the territory.”

The agreement comes at a time when agriculture remains the backbone of Kenya’s economy, serving as the primary source of income for the majority of rural households and contributing significantly to the country's foreign exchange earnings through exports.

New Holland's product suite under Inchcape Kenya will span across several key categories.

Among the offerings are the TT Series tractors, known for balancing power and fuel economy; the TD Straddle tractors, designed for multipurpose use; the TS6 and 10S Series, which are well-suited for land preparation, cultivation, and transport tasks; and the TC Series combine harvesters, tailored to smallholder and mixed farming operations in diverse crop conditions.

The partnership aims to ensure that Kenyan farmers gain access to dependable machinery backed by dedicated support.

Francis Agbonlahor, Managing Director of Inchcape Africa, highlighted the strategic importance of this appointment and the group’s longstanding ties with New Holland.

"We are proud to build on our rich legacy of over 40 years of successful partnership with New Holland in Ethiopia, as we now expand into Kenya, a market where agriculture plays pivotal role in the economic growth and advancement of the country and its people," Agbonlahor remarked.

"This appointment is a testament of the trust that New Holland has placed in Inchcape, and it aligns seamlessly with our African growth strategy."

"By bringing our global and local expertise, strong customer focus, and operational excellence into the Kenyan agricultural sector, we aim to better support and serve farmers with innovative, reliable solutions and ensure that New Holland retains its market leadership in the sector," he added.

Inchcape Kenya affirmed that it would begin offering the full line of New Holland equipment, parts and services starting from the first of August next year.
