Vipingo Ridge Limited Shareholders have approved the procedural removal of Alastair Cavenagh as a member of the Board of Directors and a director of the company.
The company says the decision was arrived at at a properly convened meeting of shareholders and according to the company’s corporate governance policy.
Vipingo added that the decision also strictly adhered to the relevant company laws in Kenya, and in accordance with their duty to safeguard its integrity and values.
Confirming the decision by the shareholders, Vipingo Ridge Board Chairman Trevor Finn expressed the firm’s appreciation to Cavenagh for the service he offered to the company.
